The tunnel will be the world's longest and deepest road tunnel. The goal is safer and more efficient travel routes along Western Norway.
Work on driving the tunnel is well underway from the attack point at Mekjarvik, Arsvågen and Kvitsøy, and contracting of the electro contractor is ongoing.
